you can only do it on servers with cheats enabled, setting cg_thirdperson to a non-zero integer will change your view to third person.

Not quite true, on servers with the "Balance" mod you can use /viewOut and /viewIn.

Don't say that what mod XYZ does makes a specific about Tremulous invalid.

in trem unbalanced mod all aliens grab wallwalk, walljump, and spit
all human weapons changed with self recharging death machines
