Win 10 Tremulous server
« on: June 29, 2017, 07:18:34 pm »
Hey guys, I've been scouring the forums and net in general for some help setting up a public tremulous server. Most of the links I come across are broken and I'm having loads of trouble setting this up.
Would anyone be able to provide me a link or some advice with setting up a server using either the scourge files or tremfusion using windows 10 x64?

What you need to do is :

1) Download this tremded off my mediafire http://www.mediafire.com/file/04jy9kyylijd6tl/tremded
2) Drag it into your tremulous directory
3) Make a .bat file and call it whatever you want
4) Make sure that is in your tremulous directory
5) Copy and paste this code into the .bat file : tremded +set dedicated 2 +set fs_game base +exec server.cfg
6) Port forward the port "30720" on your router
7) Open the .bat file and there you go  ;D :D ;) :) 8)

If you have any problems let me know and if you want me to I can make a video tutorial on how to do this on my YT : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyYl90N_w-RoSMR2XlXB8OQ

You can grab my latest tagged build here:
 https://github.com/GrangerHub/tremulous/releases/tag/v1.3.0-alpha.0.8

You'll find what you need in the "release-mingw32-x86_64.zip"

Aww, I was hoping this was some sort of raffle for the winner to win 10 tremulous servers for free. I got all excited for nothing
