actually i did but i found nothing useful.

I just wanted to know if new aliens were gonna be added and new weopons or what about a new race?

No new aliens or weaps as far as the community knows, but instead changes are being planned for existing things. (Namely the Tyrant)

But if you want those things now, I recommend downloading the Balance mod and playing on the excellent [T] Balance server. :)

Each time somebody asks about Tremulous 1.2.0, it gets 10 minutes delayed.

I allready downloaded it and tremx but all servers seem to run tremulous 1.1.0 but no mods. Or if there is a server working it isn't 24/7/12/54

The one thing I hate about this game, all the 10 year olds that get on the forums and do nothing but flame someone for asking a question.  If you don't want to take the time to answer the question please don't take the time to bash someone for asking the question.  Apparently whoever is asking the question can't seem to find his answer any place else, and this is what forums are, to ask and discuss things.  

Now that I have posted this I can only guess that there will be some computer tough guy that will respond and try and bash me, please don't make yourself any more of an idiot than you already are!

There already were 2 topics on the first two pages of this single subforum with in their title a clear reference to trem 1.2.0, one even being a 2-pager . He might have not searched the barely 2 pages which = lazy. He might have seen there was no information forthcoming atm, so why make another topic. We are not here to do your preliminary work, we are here to help if you cannot help yourself. And this could have easily been helped.

If you take this as a bash you are here with the wrong mindset. This is an explanation of why we (the so called bastards) are getting bored with pointing out the obvious time and time again.

So why can't you just post a link to that topic where his answer might be and say "here you can probably find your answer in this post, if not we will continue the discussion".  Instead you just bash him and say "maybe if you looked around a little you would find it", which will not help the new person on the forum as to where it might be.  All I am saying is that if you really want to be helpful you would do as I said, POST A LINK WHERE THE ANSWER COULD BE FOUND instead of bashing him and telling him to look through hundreds and hundreds of pages.  If you know where the page is post the link.

Thank you Mr. Fox.  This forum does seem to have more than its share of immature and arrogant souls who would rather flame than inform, and who apparently can't be bothered with reading to the second sentence of a post.  To repeat, if you're getting bored with pointing out the obvious, then just take a pill and keep quiet.

Nothing says "Don't Read Me" better than a week old topic with no replies.

A sign saying "Dont Read Me" does. Or a young child you have employed with the express intent of having them vocalise "Dont Read Me". In fact now that I think about it there are lots of things that say "Dont Read Me" better  :-?

It's on the first two pages. Anyone who can't be bothered to look through the FIRST TWO FUCKING PAGES isn't worthy of our time. We'll help those who put in some effort themselves and I know enough of us old timers have linked enough people who couldn't find things. We get bothered by the ones that don't even search anymore and expect us to babysit them.

Well if you OLD TIMERS meaning your 13 now instead of 12 are sick of helping people, then don't help.  Nobody is making any of you help or post anything.  I am beggining to think that the only reason you post anything is because you want to try and get a more l33t status then the guy next to you, because we all know that status under your name does not mean how smart you are, it simply means how many posts you have made.  So if you don't want to help then don't post anything at all.  The person that is posting the stupid question will eventually give in and go look for the answer.  Like I said if your not going to take the time to help the person THEN DON'T TAKE THE TIME TO BASH THEM.  If you can't get that simple consept through your head, then apparently your not as mature as you think you are.  And if your that upset that people keep posting stupid questions then maybe you should take your supposed l33t status and take a break because apperently you can't take the pressure in helping people.

Fox, for my part the devs can take my title, remove it, change it to fuckass i won't care. What you seem to mmisunderstand is the difference between things people can easily do themselves and things they need help with.

What is a Forum?  What are the main purpose's of a forum?  Did I ever say I was a helpful person?  Do you see me helping people?  

So know that we know what a forum is, why does that give anybody the reason to bash someone for the sole purpose of maybe asking the same question 2 times.  And those examples that you provided, aren't those people just excersing there right to use the forum just like anybody else.  If they want to start the dumbest poll, or bring up the most idiotic topics, let them, NOBODY IS MAKING YOU READ IT OR EVEN REPLY TO IT!

The main use of a forum is asking questions, an addendum to that is the fact that you can search for questions already asked and answers already given. In topics where this last part applies we will barely ever give any help unless the person states that he could not find any information.

Those are people whose questions were genuine, and were helped. There are even some redudant request in which we pointed to the already available answer.

We are trying to keep the forum easy to navigate so people can find the answers they are looking for easily. This is the best way to use this resource. It is way better than having 15 posts all saying the same thing.

The only bother is people keep making new redudant topics obfuscating the search. This is why I am trying to make people understand that they should search before asking.

But you keep misunderstanding and flaming me directly. That's why I will now stop replying. Have fun.

You know what forget it. I don't want to know.

Just lemme tell this first

the word "inform" itself derives from "inform" and a forum is a little like the news. You may be right I didn't search all the pages but i know i searched. Now let me continue.. from what i see and what i hear I never hear the reporter on the news telling the news on something that happened before the date the news is being seen.

If this question caused flames,then a mod should lock it.
