This game is shit, uninstalling.

The admins are shit.  I'v been banned from so many servers just for playing well or pissing off the wrong admin it isn't even funny.

And if you, as an admin, think "well nobody would do that on my server", then that's specificly the reason why; you just let them get away with it by not keeping track of your admins.

The servers are laggy and battles often come down to who has less lag.

The game itself is unbalanced like no fucking tomarrow and every other server modds itself without telling anyone, so either the humans become way overpowered or the aliens do.  The maps need to be fixed.

The players are n00blet dumbfucks that can't tell the difference between a massacre and a challenging game.

Worst of all, this forum is full of trolls.

In short, it isn't fun anymore because of the dumbfuckery of the people playing it.

There is one server where a lot of fun people meet, and have great games together. On this server only once had I seen a admin acting a bit of of line.

The same guy that votekicked me from trem.info for deconning while I was moving base, and called that vote without even being near base?

Judge yourself before others and before condemning trem as a whole try to find a server that suits you. Because as far as I know the trem.info servers have nothing of the negative points mentioned bar the fact of new players which are just as welcome as you are.

Yeah the trem.info servers are clearly great. Mainly because I'm technically an admin. Even though I cant play there because of my japan borked ping. But they were great 4 months ago anyway...

They're not the best but they can manage most loads without problems. We even seem to escape most problems mentioned so often in these forums...

Rarely do players get banned for playing well unless they or a relative on the same system admit to using a mod.

Every server has one or two bad admins. It's not a perfect world.

Can't really argue this, the stage rock paper scissors formula quite frankly sucks the donkeys nutsack too, but there's not much one can do about it.

You can call Tremulous a lot of things but RPS isn't one of them. RPS is Starcraft or basically any Blizzard game.  Tremulous is more like a fighting game, at least from the Alien perspective. Its all style and skill.

I read a good article about RPS game balance on gamasutra.com the other day.
