Unobstrusive I have no problem with. As long as it doesn't start flashing like a las vegas casino I think trem could do with some income.

oh, whoops :P lol, i meant to put nowhere...but accidentally selected front page or forums...If you get paid by google, post them everywhere, [sarcasm]nothin like a little extra cash in your pocket to get you finished a new version of  a game  :wink: [/sarcasm]but, I guess I wouldnt mind an ad or two on the forum footer

Yeah, post it wherever you want, anything that helps Trem is good.

Though the Firefox NoScript plugin might screw things up somewhat.

Unobtrusive advertising is fine as long as stays unobtrusive.

Although, if I can help it, most advertising gets blocked anyways.

I am for as long as the ads don't cover the contents of the site (that's why I don't have the flash plugin installed :P )

But only on forum - I think it's pointless to put 'em on the front page as it could damage it's design (thus be disturbing).
As for the forum they could be composed into it more effectively.

Not in the slightest bit. But I don't recommend using Google ads. I know of at least a dozen cases where peoples' accounts have been closed for no apparent reason (and, of course, whatever Google owed them to date was withheld).

They closed my account because I failed to prevent something that I could not have prevented without violating the agreement.

I put googleads on SST's website. We got many hits, and racked up to $50...then I get an email the day before payment that says "People at your site have been clicking it more then once blah blah blah", and my account was terminated. So, if you do that, please make sure that people only click once per add or something.

google adds are usually pretty unoffensive and can often actually be useful. I wouldn't mind them.

I have voted Front page or (and) forums. Please about ads in forum, put them at top or at bottom, but not between each post, else it will be annoying, like big signatures.
