I love marauders.  So at S3, why not take the Advanced Marauder to "Armor-plated" status?    Less damage per hit received, but same hit points.

Maybe make them a bit slower, so that you'll still have something more maneuverable than a goon or tyrant, but you wouldn't have endless mara hunts like Equilibrium said.

adv adv marauders doesnt sound too good. All alien species (excluding dretches and tyrants, unless you play tremX) have 2 sub-classes, adv and normal, making a 3rd sub-class would ruin it and we'd have to make 3 sub-classes for every other species, imagine adv adv goons. The only way this'd happen is if S4 was coded into Tremulous, which isn't going to happen.

I dunno about making them TOUGHER. I'd just like more bounces for the chain-lightning attack. It'd be nice to be able to really wreak havoc on a base with just my zappings.

Yes, but one of the two new aliens can attack using every human weapon at the same time. Its called the Machineshotpulselaserdriverflameluciferchainpaingrenadeblaster attack. The alien only has 1 hit point though.

The other alien has the armor of a battlesuit, can fly, regenerate at a rate of 50 hp a second, has 1000 hp, and does 4 dmg.

What about a rapid fire dretch? You just walk up to a human's foot and then you go CHCHCHCHCHCHHCHHH and somehow biting their foot enough times kills them.
