HUD and mod prob

ok look i have a prob with chompetrs hud mod and the prob is i need to deactivate it to go into risujins new mod relics and heaven or some thing like that. and so i need ot take the hud off but when i try to deactivate it sais canot find default hud and then i cant use any server bcz i need the chompers hud. my friend told me he had to reinstall trem, any one have any ideas to help me with this bcz i realy dont want to reinstall trem and loose my maps and stuff :(

Copy your HUD files from base/ui to whateverthemoduses/ui in your Tremulous settings directory (e.g., ~/.tremulous).

I was wondering how a custom HUD related to modprobe...

maybe i dfident expl;ain well enof but the hud prob with mod is that in relic mod things pop up in the hud like the messages and stuff like that and it shows things that u are doing and with custome hud i cant see the messages and i canot see what special ability i am doing

ok yea and i would apreciate it if u can give me like direction exacly on how to fix the prob bcz im kinda lazy and also im like ......... just soem otehr stuff so can u tell me?

If the HUD stuff changed in that mod, you probably won't be able to get the new stuff without modifying the HUD (or prodding someone else to).

"cg_hudFiles" is:"ui/hud.txt^7" default:"ui/hud.txt^7"
That's the default HUD. Set cg_hudfiles to ui/hud.txt
