i always pronounced it pwone to rhyme with own...

I pronounce it "Pone" as in "pony" but without the "y".  A girl told me that it is pronounced "own" though, like the "p" is silent.  I don't know who to believe...but whatever it is, I like to think that I do it.

I usually pronounce it pone as in rymes with own, but ith a P in front. Howver, I think the correct way might be "own" but i'm going to keep on saying Pone.
