Problem with func_door elevators and the spec cam.
« on: June 19, 2007, 03:21:10 am »
In my newest map I have a func_door set up to act as an elevator that goes up if you stand on it. However, whenever the free-floating spec camera comes near it, the camera gets stuck and it gets all jittery and ugly.

Any way to fix this?

I think it's a feature in Trem. Instead of opening the door for spec cameras, it just "teleports" the camera through the door. Since you're using a door for the elevator, it's doing the same. Unless there's a way to turn it off, I don't know if oyu can fix it.

I dont think its so much of a feature of trem as that the spec teleporters are automatically added during compilation--this is what I think I recall having read somewhere else, probably some discussion of pulse, as it has a place where the door teleporter jams specs into the wall.
