Message "banned by admin"

Hi,
when someona called vote for kick and vote passed, then show up message with reason "Banned by admin". Is possible change this message somewhere in config? Admin have nothing to do with vote kick.

The message is "banned by admin" only if an admin banned you and didn't provide a reason. If it was from a vote kick, the reason will be "vote kick".

I'm surprised you don't know the ban/kick system inside and out, based on how many admins (and non-admins) hate you.

Some servers have switched votekicks for short bans, so theres no 'kick' message, as you get banned.

I assume it says banned by admin as those mods use g_admin to do the kicking.

Iirc this correct. Most servers use a default 2 minute ban I think.

That is the case in svn as of r870. Prior to that, the ban reason upon reconnecting would be "automatic temp ban created by kick". The drop message did not change.
