« on: July 15, 2007, 08:10:55 pm »
ok i made a map tested it with devmap but i want to pk3 it and have it working for friends so we can play my map.

everyting should work but the shader file, how do i get that working?
i head about Q3MAP2 can make it.
i opened a shader file of an other map and it says:
// Generated by Q3Map2 (ydnar)[/color].

Women are for n00bs - my goat writes l33t shaders. It read the shader manual: http://q3map2.everyonelookbusy.net/shader_manual/contents.htm

I don't care if its what you wanted.  If you can't get that utility working, the manual is what you need.  If you want to make maps, start reading.  And its not like you need to know how to write a shader from scratch, just pull all the shaders you used into your own shader file.  It really isn't all that hard.  Just reading the Introduction should be all you need for now.
