Do you still use that old model rifle? I use a much newer and better one. See yours is a Tumbo 65 mine is a Tumbo 69 which is much newer and more s3xy.  8)  I don't like the dretch because it looks too shiny like its hiney. The T.V. is cool though it makes it seem like the book 1984.  :P

EDIT-- Here is my gun:

I remember the good ol' days where all we had were laser beams that took 20 minutes to charge up and lasted 5 shots. You got good at shooting real quick... those were the days.

how about a Tremuous-so-far, "community" release

How about a one-dot-one-dot-niner release?

All 3 OSs: Win, Linux, Mac

client, backport, accepted patches

(fixed Mac sort-by-ping, brightness as a menu option, Options pane on Play page)

to generate interest in the much-anticipated (but somewhat belated?) one-dot-two release, and keep the community interested

current client/server incompatibility is only further splintering the "community", rendering the game frustratingly unplayable at some servers

a bundled semi-"official" release (as opposed to the current DIY state) would tend to keep the gameplay more central, with less time spent rebuilding the client (for those who don't really have the time, skills or inclination)

no add'l maps, no mods, no HUDs, no vote system, just basic, backported, lightly patched Tremulous (the as-of-six-months-ago version) in one download, for each of the Big Three Operating Systems, on the trem.net website

1.1.9, FTW!

Enough drooling after the spartan laser in Halo 3.
I'm playing Tremulous on a Mac!
