i would like to see lasers bouncing off objects like glass etc
because lasers are lightbased.
there are 3 reasons why i ask this
1 it would be a lot more realistic
2 you can use it as a tactical improvement <- hope you know what i mean couldnt come up with the word.
3 it would look c00l

glass would refract lasers rather than reflect them ;) So they'd just go through but at a slight angle, assuming the heat doesn't melt the glass :D

Lasers won't melt glass, as long as the glass isn't colored
I think he meant mirrors. Mirrors indeed reflect laser beams although I haven't found mirrors in Tremulous yet  :P .

Though the engine does support them, so they can be put in maps I believe.

The heat generated by the focussed energy beam would :D

If they could tie it to mirrors it would be fun, imagine the numbers of newbies killing themselves while spraying :D

They already do, sometimes. If you shoot blasts at the corner of a floor, they sometimes hit, and sometimes bounce off at an angle.
