Is there a psychoneurosis test i can take?

I think i got mental issues, and by this i mean: Unstable emotions, constant thoughts in chaos, incredible head aches that last for hours, and depressive thoughts / low self-worth and stress

I've been told i need to see a shrink, but i rather just find out if i got a problem or something, i mean i feel normal, but people tell me im not.

Tests won't help you out all that much. You need to talk to someone.. i'm not being an ass or anything i'm being serious.  If you think there is something wrong with you, especially mentally, there is no way you can diagnose yourself with a test successfully. No doubt there are lots of tests out there that may give you some good pointers and advice if you find going to someone impossible.. honestly.. its probably just your age and the people around you though. There could be a lot of things to explain it, maybe just a mental problem is the easy way to not deal with it.

*While I don't have anything against you posting personal stuff and will support it because its not against any rules or anything as long as you don't start making tons and tons of them, nothing stops people from being assholes to you and exploiting your problems and it might not be a good idea to publicly air them amongst anyone who happens by this thread.

Hey, we met once before not that long ago.  My advice?  Talk to a shrink.  Keep in mind, they're not just for people who have problems, but also for people who think they need help - and you appear to be in that category.  It certainly can't hurt to talk to a professional about how you're feeling, and at the very least give you a better outlet for your anger and emotions than talking to a web forum where 90% of the people who reply seem to do so more for the benefit of their post count or underdeveloped ego and less for the possibility of actually passing on half-decent words of wisdom.

If you need help finding someone, you *could* try the guidance at your school; but my experience has been that they don't always know who to send you to, and don't always know the right thing to do.  You've mentioned elsewhere that you're taking college-level courses, if that entails going to a campus somewhere you might seek out the psychology department on campus.  While they may not do sessions themselves, I'm sure they'll know of someone in the area who does.

i rly think concentrating on someone else can make you a bit organized, and it's not about coolness, ask a friend about that. looking at your own bellybutton and listening to nine inch nails 24/7 will not fix problems.

Maybe you do need a doctor.  Maybe you are just young and foolish (as all of us are or have been )  Hearing people say that there is something wrong with you can mean many things, but it would definitely be worth getting a good psychologists thoughts on it.  +1 to going to the nearest college and asking their departments.  Also, there is a good chance that your state has free mental health programs that may be a little easier to swing without telling your parents you're going to the shrink.

Success with severe mental disorders like schizophrenia is uncommon. Typically drugs are resorted to to alleviate symptoms.. but they have trade off in side effects and are not a cure.
No point in arguing with caveman about his opinion on the matter, you asked the forums for input and he is giving his. I do see a pattern in your threads though that needs to stop. You post something and a couple of people who don't like you post something and you get into an argument with them about it. If you want to argue with people and are just fishing for reasons just take it elsewhere. If you are asking serious questions you need to not let them degenerate into a back and fourth argument with someone like this.
