Obviously, I'm brand spankin new to this community (first post

) but I may be able to help you out a bit. I'm looking for a decent internship this summer, and the one I'm looking at wants me to have a couple more live sites on my portfolio. Also, I really enjoy the communities that spring up around most linux games, so I suppose this would be an ok project for me to work on. Luckily, I've just begun my winter break, and I have a couple hours free in the next week or two that I could use to put something together. All I need from you is some degree of assurance that the site will be live for a couple of months, and a tiny, non-intrusive copyright to my name in the footer of the template. Typically, I wouldn't worry about my name being there, but as I pointed out, I'm trying to score a job here

Anyway, I'm usually more of a project manager with separate artists to handle the actual template design, but I've picked up a fair amount of skill (I hope) and I wouldn't mind putting Adobe Photoshop back to use for once. I write nice, clean, standards compliant and cross browser compatible XHTML with heavy dependencies on CSS. Obviously, I stay away from table layouts and also put a lot of work into search engine optimization. In addition, I have a reasonable knowledge of javascript, as well as most server side stuff like PHP, RoR, PERL, Python and Coldfusion. I'm not absolutely sure if I can handle the work quite yet, as I may have some paid jobs coming in for the break. (I've gotta buy those Christmas presents somehow -.- ) Go ahead and shoot me an email with some details about the work though, and I'll see what I can do.
