I can't see a few servers

My friend and I were going to play on a server (yes I've played on it before) And I couldn't locate it on my server list or I couldn't find my friend using the find friend function. I also tried connecting by the servers IP but it just says "Awaiting connection..1" and so on. How will I be able to play on this server? Thanks

The only ways is that the Server is Turned Off/Or there is a problem on the server
