Supposed to be white claws I think.

and

http://janvanderweg.com/pics/tremulous/shot0013.jpg

are VERY different.

Really? I didn't notice! ;)

Those are the mara and basi choppers.

I know, I did to, but DeathOnIce apparently could not tell the difference.

What the hell is a rawrpew?
It's a spaceship in the form of a Dragoon chopper, doh!

i prefer the mara + basilisk claws, this goonleg is looking quite "fat", little bit too 'round' for my taste, but if it fits to the model, ofc it's cool. some rather "edgy" style would fit trem best imho.

The Aliens in Tremulous do not really look like walking switchblades... They are quite cute, certainly compared to the fugly critters from Gloom. I think the curvey shapes complement the organic forms of the Alien models.

+ OPTIMUS +

well it's all about taste of course.
in my eyes curvy and roundy is quite a difference (while both can happen in a good and bad way). curves what the mara/basi has are neat, while still organic. like organic sickles. the goon chomper is looking quite... 'bulby'... <.<

on the other hand, are those goon chompers going to be visible? or are they going to actually bite?

You'd still need the models which aren't on my webspace.
Tell me SVN at least has cruddy placeholder models so that anyone who compiles and runs it wont get tons of error messages when they play.

If not, we can at least drool over the models and screenshots you've shown so far.

SVN doesn't have any models. Media isn't really under version control.

I compiled it and ran it. You get a series of errors on mapload and then it behaves pretty much normally.

So sweet in the .avi files.. I'm gonna love 1.2, but I needs to kno, what about dretch, goon, and gwanger? I understand s2 granger has a swipe attack, but it seems the devs haven't made one, and noone knows about biting.

IMHO the goon is a somewhat more heavy and brute creature then the agile marauder and sneaky basilisk. It's large front legs look more like clubbing weapons than sharp claws. I think the slightly rounded, "beefy" look is rather suiting for this.
