Any connection to any group I am affiliated with - be it the ArmagetronAd Developers or any other group, is purely coincidental unless otherwise expressly stated. Don't be a dolt when you read my posts, as they *may* require some brainpower and thinking (also purely coincidental). Any opinion in my posts not expressed by me are purely figments of your imagination and will be dealt with accordingly.

i would rather ask then compare 350 files with eachother...

Paradox

A comparison would be faster than waiting for a response on the forums.
Also, you would feel better after a comparison.

Lol

no i wouldnt, cuz i have to work :) so i would feel super tired after a comparison and very depressed, i would rather wait a few hrs/days for an honest reply.

Well if you can't be bothered to look then why should I?
Adding new things is a relativity complex process, as there are many places that need to be updated.  if you can't work it you you probably can't do it anyway.
Any maps not in the MG repo?  Email me or come to irc.freenode.net/#mg.

My words are mine and mine alone.  I can't speak for anyone else, and there is no one who can speak for me.  If I ever make a post that gives the opinions or positions of other users or groups, then they will be clearly labeled as such.
I'm disappointed that people's past actions have forced me to state what should be obvious.
I am not a dev.  Nothing I say counts for anything.

If all you want to do is replace existing models, unzip data-1.1.0.pk3 (it's a zip file) and find the existing model, then make a new pk3 with your new models in the same places. The new pk3 should contain nothing other than what you intend to override and should be placed in a mod folder so that it will take precedence over the base data.

If you want to add completely new classes, buildings, or weapons, look at how tremx or balance did it.
