Hmm, I found this topic while I was browsing through the fourms, and I am sorry for what has fallen upon your friend. Recently I had lost a friend to cancer also, and it was hard to watch him die slowly. Its easy to remember how healthy they were before cancer, happy, care-free, and ready to take on life by thier own. My friend was just out of university and was going to be a prosicutor, and his was expected to marry his girlfriend later on. But now his life is taken away, just like yours, I hope someday your pain could subside to the point where you'll be happy for his accomplishments in life.
My sincere condolences to you and his family.
Watching someone die is like watching yourself die...
--Edit--
I have donated 150$ to the cancer society, which is extremly little to lose compared to what you had lost.
