It is: Troubleshooting.
A guid is a unique number/character combination identifiying you to the server you connect to. It sits in a file called qkey and is placed in your tremulous directory. You need a more recent/none stock client to get it. A good place would be
http://trem.tjw.org/backport or
http://trem-servers.com/index.php?page=downloadsThen you should put the following line into either your autogen.cfg or autoexec.cfg
seta cl_guidServerUniq "1"On servers that have it you can now do
!register to protect your name from being used by someone else. (The protection is not perfect as is no security measure ever conceived)
-------------------------
This only applies if you already have a client with guid support:
Attention:
If you have admin on a server and change this line, you will lose your admin status due to the fact that now instead of a generic guid you get a server specific for every server you connect to.
