Anyone else listen to them much?

If you have only heard Into the fire and flames, or have never heard them before, try this page. You can listen to SOME of their songs. You need a Last.fm account, though.

I listen to the every once and a while. I used to listen to them more often until I found out they really can't play what they have on their CDs.

I listened to the Inhuman Rampage and Sonic Firestorm albums. I microwaved them shortly afterwards.

Dragonforce looks pretty awesome, but they do suck in real life. (Not suck.. just not what they seem like.)

(ok, kind of suck.)

I don't care much for Theart's vocals, but it sounds pretty good when he's not singing.

How is the new album, btw?

Hmm, I don't think I prefer songs like that, but I gotta give em' credit, they weren't as bad as I thought they were (but they weren't as good either :D )

They're nice and judging from you posting them, you like power metal?

Rhapsody:

The youtube quality makes it sound a bit worse, but if you like this, you're going to love the 'real' quality :P

Iced Earth:

I'll post some more but the oven's ready and I'm going to the gym afterwards.

Try listening to Sonata Arctica, they're great :)

Shy - Sonata Arctica
Tallulah - Sonata Arctica
These 2 are the slow songs, the first time I listened to them, I wasn't really in the mood for them, but right now, I've listened to both songs over 40 times in 5 days >.>

Fullmoon - Sonata Arctica
Wolf and Raven - Sonata Arctica
Power Metal :D

The end of this Chapter - Sonata Arctica
My favorite song, not sure what style it is :P

Emerald Sword is their best song, hands down.

Well, I personally prefer to hear the whole album. That way, it sounds like the whole thing is one song, that's what got me into Rhapsody anyway :P
But yea, Emerald sword is great :)

Apparently DragonForce are coming to Australia...

I doubt I will be seeing them. I'd rather see Judas Priest.

They're rather shit live. Check out some youtube vids of their live performances. Horrid.

Yeah, I agree. They're my favorite power metal band by far, which is likely because they sound the most 80s influenced. I'm not a big fan of their last CD, but the many before it are all fantastic.

Priest is Priest.

Priest will always be good.

I'm actually waiting for Slayer to come out.

Yea it sounds like their label told them to go emo because that's what is popular nowadays.

They have talent, I will agree. I was very intrigued the first couple songs I listened to. However, the more you listen, the more you start getting bored of it. They play so fucking fast in all of their songs that it all starts sounding the same after a while. They need to mix in some slower songs to change the tempo a bit and maybe show a bit more feeling in their music. No one is going to think they are any less skilled just because they have songs that are a bit easier to play. Besides, making their music so damn fast and complicated makes them fucking terrible live because they are bound to make many mistakes, or so I hear.

Weren't they in guitar hero? Anyway I can't say i don't like them, but if i listen more than 5 their songs my ears would explode :(

PS. I can't find any sense in discussion about "this song/band is a sith because it's easy to play". When i'm listening or playing a song i don't care if its easy or hard. It just have to sound cool.

Instead of posting that image, you could've just linked to a song, people might, ya know, try to listen to them:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USriZAMR2nA

I personally don't think they're bad, actually, I'm going to listen to a few more songs of them. I'm afraid that their songs are going to sound all the same after a while =/

Edit: Ok, I only liked the song I linked to. The rest are just the same kind of 'meh, it has potential'
