P-g-qvm v 1.6.5
« on: September 04, 2008, 04:06:51 am »
Finally an update.
 * Damage done to self does not raise bleed counter. (Issue 157)
 * BleedingSpree goes down when damage is done to other team, but at 1/3 the damage done (Issue 157)
 * Admitdefeat votes cannot be spammed anymore by players, can't be called before `g_admitDefeatTime`, or by admin (Issue 159)
 * Fixed bug in listplayers and lockname (Issue 161)
 * Cleans up build near doors code (Issue 163)
 * Adds `/devolve` command for aliens. Does not give credits back, player must have full health, and is cvar controlled by `g_allowDevolve` (Issue 166)
 * Added silent specme, when `!specme s` is done by an admin (anyone with kick flag k), they are put to spec team, but it is not announced. (Issue 168)
 * Increase max registered players. (Issue 177)

The version numbers skip from 1.6.2 to 1.6.5 because there hasnt been an update for a while, and this added several small bugfixes.

There should be more coming soon, as always.

i have a request
i wanna make a small machinima/film using trem for a competition im entering, but i need a black guy for the story.
so if your not overly busy, can u implement a command (g_race?) to turn whether the player wants to be black or not, and put in the skins for that black guy? same model, just different skin.
i can supply some stuff if need be, but i have no idea what to do to make a mod/QVM.
i've looked around in the data pk3 and i think ive got a (very) basic understanding of whats going on.

ive uploaded a .rar with some stuff in it that yuo might need, its not a compile or mod or anything, just a bunch of stuff.

This would require a client-side mod as well.

And asian skin too! :-) Different skins (if not copletely user defined) would be good in new version trem.

Use blender's or the gimp's tools to change the hue and luminosity of the skin tones in gfx/models/players/h_base.tga and .../base.tga, then stick them in a pk3 and put it in your "base" folder; connect to any unpure server to see the difference. This would change all the human models, not just one; making a g_race as you suggested would require an entirely new human class, which is no trivial or meaningful task.

@mod: please split this offtopic shtuff, as it is totally irrelevant to Paradox's thread...
