Ailen transforms dont work!!!

When i go on the alien team it will not let me transform into a advanced Balisk and a advanced dragoon   .
it says you are already it or something like that .

You need to be more specific. What exactly is the error message? Did you used to be able to evolve into these classes before?

i think the guy is talking about a situation that can only happen if he is using custom cfg binding, therefore he can'T be an absolute noob :-)
otherwise the list would not allow him to choose from classes that he is not able to choose from... would it?

I'm mostly guessing that he's on a server that has not been "backported" properly, so the wrong message codes get sent to clients.

When i click on ad baliks and ad dragoon (ad = advanced) and then click transform it says you are already that!! its not a error message it comes up at the top as if some 1 said it or some ting??

Ya i bet he is playing on X, on X you have to have a lisk and then 9 evos so u can get adv lisk, if u wnat adv goon u have to get goon and 9 evos, btw dont oplasy on that server, it sucks isnt a "suggested" server for a realy nice game.

I have a bit similar problem.
I can evo to any alien class on the Arena servers.

But I cannot evo to advanced dragoon on any other server. I can evo to tyrant or to advanced marauder, but I cannot evo to advanced dragoon. The game writes: "You cannot evolve from your current class". I tried to evo to dragoon first, then to adv. dragoon, but it still writes the same. In all the cases I had plenty of evo points, sometimes even 9.

Once I couldn't evo to tyrant with the same message. I could evo to advanced marauder, but I couldn't evo to advanced dragoon and tyrant. By the way, there were a lot of tyrants running around.

I use tremulous 1.1.0. I did not compile it (just downloaded the binary). I looked at the source for this particular message, but I did not manage to understand the problem. Has anybody seen anything like that? Probably I have to download some new beta-version which is used on some servers?

No, wallwalking was off. If it was wallwalking of not enough room or no evo points I would get the corresponding message.
Name at least one real server and I will try.

I dont host any server, that UBp playground that is ussin g my name by there isnt from me, i just noticed some days ago that it exist, and is doing a bad use of my name, i hate UBp servers <,<

Ive got the same problem on almost all servers i cant evolve to adv dragon. ("cannot evolve from your current class") i tried it 100 times an more without moving...

I'm not too familiar with X's rules, but I've heard that you need 9 evos before you can become an advanced dragoon. Hope that helps.

Then get P-sawed or blasted when your in the human base 5 seconds later? That sounds like a good use of evos. 

As long as we're talking about that X server, I belive (not sure) that to evolve into a rant you need 14 evos.
