Hamachi LAN Server

Im starting a Hamachi server for Tremulous. So if you have it running and you join the network, you should see a/some server(s) on the LAN list.

Im working on setting up a dedicated server for it so it will have a fast ping. Right now its on my home computer which isn't very good. I currently own a VPS but it doesn't allow Hamachi so I'm looking for a new one.

Yes it is 24/7.

Also, if anybody ever wants to play, I'm on Hamachi from 4:00 - 4:30 pm and from 6:00 pm - 1:00 am. (Central Time)

Finally got a Tremulous server online. It's set up on a Private Server so the ping should be low. I can change any settings you like and if anybody feels like being a mod on the server, I can arrange that.

The server may not be on the list at all times. Im trying to get a LAN server set up too for Hamachi.

Server Name: zOMG!
Server Pass: n/a
Server IP: 65.75.244.200:32123

Note: You must use port 32123 or it will not work. If you try joining the server from the list, it will work. But I recommend adding it as a favorite.

I have noticed.

I get a wooping 400 + ping on my friends hamachi server. Normally if it was run using cmd or what ever i get around 100.

Is there a way to lower the fake ping?.

Lowering fake ping won't change the fact that your real ping is high. Hamachi is just another layer it can't defy the laws of physic.

Then don't use Hamachi.
Its adding another layer, and apparently it doesn't do a very good job of it.
Hamachi sucks anyway, there's no reason to ever use it.

The only use of Hamachi that I see is with old games that do not have an internet multiplayer mode or run on outdated protocols like IPX.
