Superpie's Visual Mod, Version 2

I've worked more on this than on my last mod, hopefully that shows. I pray it doesn't suck and so far feedback has been positive.

This is a pk3 that you stick in your tremulous 'base' folder that replaces certain visuals. It only works on servers that allow third-party modifications (unpure servers). For now I'm just putting it up for download.

Things Changed Since Last Version
  • Certain weapons have glowing spots, battlesuit's eye also glows
  • Weapons and buildables use ShinyTrem shaders
  • Human camouflage is more 'urban'
  • Luci is more badass :P
  • Jetpack is 50% quieter
  • shotgun has a pump-action sound after each shot
  • Battlesuit and Tyrant view height increased like in 1.2
  • Flamer reduced to 30% of its original opacity
  • Goon snipe has a splash effect (not damage, just visual)
  • ATCS has cleaner textures, the gigantic 2d bolts were removed
  • Chunks fly out of aliens when you shoot them
  • Ckits have new high-resolution textures (shinytrem, mgdev)
  • A few new and modified particle systems

Instructions
Put the .pk3 file in your tremulous base folder.

when i downloaded it, i got a folder called "zz-superpie-2"

do i just place that in my base folder?

Good work. Chainguns sound is scary. I only don't like new BS and human textures. Isn't better this?: http://www2.udec.cl/~alejandrosoto/shot0004.jpg
And that jetpack sound should be default, jetpack should be annoying ;D
BTW, why is always ckit texture slightly moved to right side?

This mod can be used on R Unlimited CZ server.

I have one problem. That "Battlesuit and Tyrant view height increased like in 1.2" does not work for me. Height view is same, but if I want hit humans head with tyrant, then I must look at his legs :( Also tyrant dead bodyes are often 1 meter above floor. Can I somewhat fix that or reset it to standard 1.1 height?

That view height bug seem work even when player haven't this mod. We had to delete this mod from server, because players can't hit enemy with tyrant. There was situations like tyrant VS naked not moving human, and human wins.

I don't know how it work, but:

1) I uploaded mod to server, views are same, but I can't hit anything with tyrant.
2) I deleted mod, leaved it only on server, but still can't hit anything. And not even me. Is possible that mod somewhat using server?
3) Deleted from server and all is back to normal now.

You have views higher?

Yes, the view changes will also affect the server. Superpie should remove that.

Why didn't you use the ShinyTrem shaders for player models? That is basically the most likely place you'll see the effects. All you have to do is use the 'human.shader', 'alien.shader', 'level2.shader', and 'jetpack.shader' from ShinyTrem.

I'm going to be committing some of this stuff along with ShinyTrem to Tremfusion, but I just want to know what you have changed in the particle effects.
