At a particular point in a successful match as a human, you will always run into a phenomenon where ninja grangers keep rebuilding the alien base somehow, somewhere, and it is your job to find it.
Besides common sense like using the helmet, what are the tactics for locating the enemy granger? Should we expect them at viable spots for alien bases? Cause I've seen them build anywhere, even often in places good for humans that people don't go to often, like the window room in Niveus. Will lone grangers attempt to make getaways towards their new base, or away, will they run in a direction that they want to build in, or do they just made the mad dash in any direction cause you're in their asses with a pulse rifle?
A most bemusing granger tactic is to wallwalk and stick above a doorway, and just wait for you to run by. This works exceedingly well on bsuits, of course, but it's almost hilarious when I see a little red mark almost barely above me, look up, and stare at a granger for 5. 10. Even 20 seconds. He doesnt wanna look down cause then I might see him, so he doesn't know if I've spotted him, but I have. I've changed and reloaded my weapon that time, and he doesn't move. It's very amusing. But also something to watch out for. The smart players won't always run far away. This is why the helmet is incredibly important.
But it's hard to organize an egg hunt sometimes. People who just got their bsuits will try so hard to avoid changing them. And the weapons people use too. Chasing grangers or dretches with the lucifer just isn't useful. It's good if you actually find the enemy base, but for that I find the pulse rifle works very well. You can both hit the fatassed grangers and buildings with great accuracy, and it's also very good for dretches, especially since many times you will catch them on the spawn, just sitting there. If not, they don't tend to have time to run up walls and try headshots, they're just trying to get you out of their psuedo-base, so they will tend to stay on the ground and make it relatively easy for you.
Is there anything else we need to know?
