Base Attack Groups
Groups for destroying the human base.

Divide and Conquer
Overview
This group relies on distraction to gain the upper hand.

Requirements
• One tyrant
• Two advanced dragoons
• Assorted aliens, ready to attack at a moment's notice

Procedure
The tyrant charges the human base and draws the defenders to the frontline. Meanwhile, the dragoons approach from a weaker entrance and snipe any turrets or teslas before attempting to hop the reactor. If they succeed, the waiting aliens charge forward and destroy everything.

Skirmish Groups
Groups for attacking humans.

Gutspiller
Overview
This group swarms groups of humans.

Requirements
• One dragoon
• One basilisk (experienced)
• Two marauders (advanced, if at all possible)

Procedure
First, the marauders bounce off any nearby walls to gain speed and fly into the middle of the humans. Blood, confusion, and general mayhem should ensue. The dragoon then pounces into the fray while the basilisk grabs and kills anyone who tries to flee.

How do you expect this to work? If this is for pubs goooood luck trying to get people to work together. If it is for clans than it is a waste of resources.

I've actually seen these used a number of times. Can't remember the server, but the aliens pwned when they worked together.

A separate guide for aliens? Good job Syntac, the problem with this guide is how it could be executed successfully with the cooperation of the aliens. Usually its difficult to explain your friends to go and do this method without screwing up, but I usually see the first strategy done  without anyone explaining about it.  :D

I've been playing Trem for about four months now and decided it was time to go on the forum and see what I could learn.

I really like the idea of an alien team that isn't just a bunch of James Dean loners bouncing around looking for kills. When playing Mara, after humans reach L2, I usually try to find a goon or rant that I can lead around and act as a fishing lure for. Pretty much every time, the goon/rant will pick up on what I'm doing and he'll hang back around a corner while I go jumping into the enemy base looking for a human to dance with.

If a b-suit spots my mara, he’ll almost always follow me out and I can usually lead him right to the ambushing goon/rant without taking too much chase-damage myself. Now, I’m sure tactics like this are just standard noob-talk and no surprise to many of you.

Still, I think the benefit of alien team work is very underrated. Maybe if we could devise some more simple positioning tactics like Syntac has here, there would be more worthwhile alien teams playing on the public servers.

Most common mistakes and flaws done, while making organized rushes by alien team. By my opinion.

  • Patience: most players seem to lack of this important thing both in games, and real life (and i admit too, that i sometimes ran out of patience.
    Quote
    Patience is Virtue.
  • Get lost: some seem get lost where to group or move to. They wander here and there (and askin: "where you are??" "Side way of human base..." " which sideway? there is 2 sideways :P") And then it goes to patience part (read upper text.)
  • Idiocy: Just attacking to human base, without knowing that there is organized rush waiting, and you ruin it losing the most important alien class (not exactly, but the point i hope you understand.)

And the patience is the most important part IMHO.

And there is many, many other factors too. Like skills of players, map, etc, etc... (you can find any flaw when coordinated rush fails)

Now that 1.2 bas has 65 hp, this won't work.
