I founded this clan with wireddd, both of us formally KoR admins, but due to the amount of uncontrollable abuse we've decided to start fresh with a harsher set of rules and less members.

We've just purchase a new and better server that is being set up and will be ready soon. It will have teamspeak or mumble with at least 2-3 tremulous servers and an IRC channel. It will all be ready shortly.

Thank you. It was kind of hard for us to scrim in a server with normal speed and gravity. I'm sure you probably still would have won with our speed and gravity. Very good clan you have there. We'll try to work on getting better at unlagged with normal gravity and speed

I used to play BeerGarden with regular settings, and wireddd used to be in s11 (not sure of the settings he played then, but he's played for a year longer than I), however when we both joined FA they had the higher speed/gravity so we got used to that and haven't really had the chance to readjust. That is why now we'll have a regular speed/gravity server with unlagged so we can readjust and hopefully scrim more.

Also: when we left FA a few of them followed us looking for a better place to play that was like the FA server so that was the type of servers we chose to put up. We had an unlagged one for awhile, but it had the faster speed/gravity (wasn't supposed to) so we eventually scraped it.

And then with the forming of RK the Trem-x mod works best with a different speed/gravity mostly because if you got slow pulsed once you were dead. :] But yeah we're slowly implementing more and more regular servers, hopefully they don't end up like a bunch of the empty servers.

I don't think it is more or less skill really.  It just comes down to what you're used to.  Though I do feel that the high speed a lot of time is luck, because you're bouncing so high and turning so fast, its almost impossible for the human reflexes to match it when you come flying off a ledge into a pit of human heads.

Lots of variables to throw in there though, but it's probably just one of a lot of things where everyone's got their different feel with it.

Server settings aside, I am going to be doing all my development work that I was doing at KoR at RK now.  So the RK tremx server will get all the updates, KoR's probably not.
I built a new map repository for RK, most of the website isn't up yet, but it is. I wouldn't mention it if I didn't think it was fairly novel what with all the level shots and such. http://maps.randomkeywhacking.com/

Yeah dodging is easier at a higher speed and aiming is harder. (in my opinion) But I feel that at a normal speed/grav a human's bullets aren't any slower so humans have more of an advantage.

Why is the map "funzone" named as "ATCS"?

because inside the pk3 there is a file called 'funzone_b1.arena' it contains the following:
