So wait, is this a french localization, or just a re-packed download?

Kaleo, he basically created a new setup.exe for Tremulous (I assume it's Windows only)
Once you install his new setup you will have a GUID, some new maps (not sure why he didn't include Ancient Remains and also not sure why he included 'dunjeon', whatever that is).
It also appears to have a HUD menu, and maybe additional HUDs.

I like this idea Kazer, even though installers should be left to the devs to decide what should be included in the package (And then theres the legal issues behind this). I don't see whats so bad about the idea of the devs creating a new installer with maybe a popular client like TJW's, adding in a friendly Hud like Warrior's/Volts/etc's Hud and adding in the many user-created maps that is popular in the servers to play with. This can help reduce the amount of repeated newbie complaints and makes it easier to just install Tremulous and play away.

Kazer, I think its a great idea, but its best to get the devs to do it because 98% of all Tremulous downloads comes from their site (The other 2% is whatever else) and its basically their game your re-packaging for download.

There are no legal issues... This is basically the same as TJWs, just different.

There are no legal issues.
Assuming he read all the licences and followed all the rules.  You'd be surprised how many people forget to do the attribution correctly.
Any maps not in the MG repo?  Email me or come to irc.freenode.net/#mg.

Yea. Only replacing old tremulous.exe with tjw's would be enough. But no. Main package is still hundred years old. Why?  >:(

Because you did not help in building the package?
If you have to complain about the voluntary work of somebody else, just do it better. Preferably before you crawl from under your rock.

I don't know how you, but I can replace one file in zip package in one sec. And Kazer2.0 already did it better, but at main page will be still same package - and that is problem.

But tjw client has not working server, I think.

The problem isn't replacing the file, it's stealing Timbo's root password to upload the updated zip.
