Roomy is a Water Processing facility for Hydro Corp. Unfortunately it has been infested.

I have been working on and off this map for the past year or so.
Please note this is not the final version so some areas are not finished (Lack detail), currently lacks optimization (hint brushes) and there are some sizing issues.

This water processing facility on Regenachtig Woestijn (One of the many moons orbiting Ruw Voorwaarden) has been over run by aliens. We humans need the water this facility proccesses and therefore it must be reclaimed.
Exterminate the aliens!

This map is amazing for builders, lots of potential bases.

I have a couple of annoyances with it though.
A: The human elevator is a little odd, took me awhile to get it to ground level.
B: Lag, now i understand this lacks optimization, but my average FPS is 16-32.

But besides that, great map, my favorite area is the outdoors :>.


Also i you got a couple missing textures.

Thank you X-20, I'll fix texture issue and upload asap. By the way elevator starts on, so just wait. As for FPS, I've got an 8800GTS so I dont notice anything :P, though will fix next release.

Ack, you crazy person, thats one mother of a video card! I'll test it on my crap 733Mhz PC and see how well your map can perform on a very low-end computer. Be back shortly.  ;)

Looks good, but you may have went overboard with the coloured lights and brightly coloured wires here and there. Unfortunately I predict that this map will be human biased because of the readily accessable vents from the default human base and the abundance of low-ceiling corridors. There are a number of secluded areas with just one narrow entrance/exit that can be disastrous to gameplay if either team chooses to build there (eg. fountain pipe and the high up place with the locked door).

Looking at the PK3, I noticed that the file size was relatively large which may deter certain servers from hosting it (players have a large download from a single host). In textures/Roomy/ there is a Thumbs.db file; and in textures/Metals there is a desktop.ini file.

I see you put alot of effort into the fine details of the map. Good work.

These doors can be 'blocked' provided a dretch moves quickly into the slots.

This may or may not be an error. Basically there's a shadow of the building cast by some invisible coloured light source that doesn't match the star's angle nor colour.

The skybox can be wall-walked and built on.

I believe the following sounds aren't playing properly in-game because they have two channels (stereo, which Tremulous doesn't seem to like playing properly).

I also found Genorator_Drone.wav and corridor_water.wav (strange screeching sound) headache inducing in-game. Hopefully converting it to mono will solve the problem.
