I really want to get recommendations so tomorrow (Sunday, 5th August) I'm going to play on the }MG{ server all day.

I now also use the username "}MGR{ Merlin" due to someone stealing "an Alien" and doing a load of deconning / TKing.

I now have between 3-4 reccomendations, which is enough to allow me to join.

As long as you send me the e-mail so I can more easily find your rec and make sure you didn't rec him twice then its fine.  
BTW.. just to let you know.. i didn't get any e-mail from you.
I also appreciate all the help with the website that has been offered, but i'm currently doing some professional web-design and the more sites I get under my belt by myself the better. On that note once I get started it shouldn't take that long.

Ooh I'd like to join. Tag on the game will be '}MGR{ JumpHaround' - I'm not bothering with the UG tag anymore, because I see hardly anybody from UG on there now.  I played with Juno and Howitzer for a few games earlier.

EDIT: I tend to play on Alien's Wrath, ESA and Ludo, but anything with a low ping really.

as most of you probably dont know i am making a thingy to get useful data from the server's logs.
at ther present i'm thinking lists of kills and deaths etc for each player, graphs of kills:deaths ratio over time and games played each day etc.

what sort of data do you want extracteded?
who thinks this is a good idea?

Hey,

As David, Trigger Happy, Tuple, and Ice Devil will confirm, I've been playing on MG all day, on and off.

I don't want to absuse my reccomending rights, but I've seen some great stuff.

1) [NEX] Phreak is a very good player. I didn't see him be rude at any point, and was overall pretty quiet. Very skilled with Aliens.

2) Deuk is usually a very good guy, but still has some learning to do (we all do, I guess)

3) reinie deserves a reccomendation, and is a very good player. Based on the name/stereotype tug-of-war that I'm feeling, I'm not sure if I should refer to this person as he or she, I'm sorry. Either way, good player, and a fairly modest person.

4) ZEL was also a good player. Don't really know too much about them though.

That's just what I've seen. If you think that my judgement isn't great, well, what can I do?  I will send an e-mail to PIE making my official recommendations, but I just wanted to give some credit where it is due. I will not reccomend all these people because I don't know a lot of them that well and I would prefer to reccomend sporatically, rather than going reccomend-happy. I hope that other MG members feel the same way.

Anyways, I had a lot of fun playing with these recruits, as well as Tuple, David, and StVlad. Thanks a lot, guys!

Will be back on presently. Addicted. This game is like ruining my life, lol  :D.

I think that this is a neat idea, but remember that the idea of the clan is not to single out who is the best, but to help each other, so although it's neat to analyze data, and I love to do it, please stop if people start treating each other like inferiors/gods.

Data: Kill vs Death ratio is probably the most important I think. Player activity is also very good to have. I also like:
-Alien vs Human ratio (to see how many player prefer what and if there is a trend: maybe one day we would seek to balance out any player imbalances by say looking for new recruits who are more into aliens. Just a though, I don't know)
-Weapon preferances (to be able to gage which weapons are most efficient so that new players can get an idea of what's good and bad, rather than what's expensive.) Note: I don't know if this is possible.
-Buildings built vs games played (to find the good builders to teach the new builders)
-Whatever else can be tracked/analyzed.

Note: I really don't know how much is possible to do, so feel free to ignore however many of those that you want. No offence taken.

PIE, I was wondering how many emails you have been getting about recs? I think some of our recruits might be getting fed up (Granger Hunter??) cause everyone is to lazy to email... maybe, maybe not - Im just wondering
