It will suck when 1.2 is ready. So much of Tremulous' atmosphere relies on 1.2 not being released, devs need to keep saying it will come out one day and never release it, without 1.2 to look forward to, everything is so much more dull, and it's not really Tremulous any more.

Models for 1.2 are almost done, so are the textures. Game play changes are still being developed buy I would say they are 75% done. Hmm... what else is missing? Well I say it would happen next year.

The sad thing is, 1.2 will only hasten the growth of the 1.1 field....Seems that the playerbase for either the modified gameplay servers, or the server that has actual new weapons and aliens etc are the real future of Trem... The people on those servers arent always the  nicest, but they have a welcoming attitude generaly to noobs etc....

1.2 admins etc are not always the greatest people... And the gameplay seems to be all that is changing... To many in 1.1 all 1.2 is, is a really prolonged and much touted QVM change... Sure there are some new model concepts and even a couple new models... but for it being HOW LONG? Just for a slight upgrade, not a Trem 2.0?

Stop messing with 1.2 and work towards a 2.0 thats my opinion... Or start using the models....
