so i ask the admins here, where in the rules does it say not to speak anything but English? I've read them 3 times now.
also, what i said to cadynum.ddos right before he kicked me (jeme puli buliba bi bala bon jamba) wasn't any language, but some made up garbled text that only resembles a language and it means nothing lol.

in all fairness i should have been muted, but doesn't being banned for 2 days seem a bit harsh, especially when there is no rule posted about foreign languages and/or made up languages?

First: thanks for highlighting me (just for peoples curiousness I wrote "...in common sense that not everyone likes to read some polish babbling").
Second: while I disagree with you (public chat should stay in english on official server so it stays clean, there are private messages for a reason), I also disagree with Cadynum's action and if I noticed it, I would definitely ask to unban you. Kicking and BANNING FOR 2 DAYS just because someone wrote "jeme puli buliba bi bala bon jamba" (lol, gotta bind this one) is extremely inopportune. Even mute would be totally uncalled for (you weren't even spaming, you sent just one freakin meaningless message).

i think you said something about partying with someone's bundle (that you own, i guess) in croatian and hungarian. as far as cussing in croatian (skočit ću ti golom guzicom u lice), that's pretty timid, but i could see that being offensive to a hungarian (fatökű)

Since I only know a couple of languages there was no way for me to know you just made something up.
From reading your condump it's clear you just wanted to make a witty comment, however it didn't, for me, appear like that in game. I agree I shouldn't have banned you. Sorry.

hi Ladybum.bjob, thanks for your insightful reply.  a true and fair admin would have just simply muted me.  maybe next time you want to ban someone for 'language' you will consider a mute, then kick, and then if you must ban specify if the 'language' is foreign or foul.  don't they teach you guys this stuff in admin camp?  ;-)

anyway, maybe the official rules should be updated to reflect this unofficial 'english only' chat policy?  that way this type of thing can be avoided altogether.
