Blender guns replacing Question

After I put the weapon in .md3 format and all that stuff... In the pk3 However...  Do I start tremulous and open the console and Type in-    /sv_pure 0
                       /devmap  then my map name then will it show my gun or not...

Or how do I load a devmap for testing out a weapon I created.

I need too know so I can see this later on so I can start doing this...

Trem doesn't load 3ds format models. Try converting to MD3 first.

Dam DID I put .3ds I meant .md3

You can test your model in devmap with the /testgun <path/to/gun.md3> command. Otherwise you would have to replace one of the existing models.

/testgun puts the model inside your head :o /testmodel spawns it in front of you and you can walk around it.
