okay...i've been inactive for a month because a game called gloom. its like trem, and we need more players...us gloomers are sad because...gloom is dying...but if u guys start playing, we will be able to keep gloom above the water it's a long and complicated install (month for me) ...but it's worth it. NO SPAMMING NO SHITTY ADMINS KICKING YOU(HERM) (only 3 or 4 per server)  5 servers but not as much players   oh...and dont give up on installing gloom    http://www.planetgloom.com/

EDIT: I am going to try gloom; I've known about gloom for a while and am interested to try it. Just stop the spam-marketing. This only requires one thread and it should really be in off topic; it's not about glooms relationship with tremulous, it's about gloom getting more players.

Sure Gloom is not as flashy as newer games but for sheer gameplay and fun, i can tell you nothing quite comes close. Maybe it seems odd to plug the game so shamelessly, but it's a crime that such a beautiful game is dying simply because people don't know about it, or aren't willing to give an old game a chance... just my 2 cents.

That's funny because back in 2003 when i played gloom i thought it was on the verge of dying. Then i saw a website that was like 'omg gloom in the q3 engine' but that kinda never happened and a few years later a friend tipped me off on good old here trem - that was a really nice follow up to gloom
