A !cancelvote question

after a recent thread about !passvoting, I recall a time in the past of an abuse.
I will not mention the name of the admin who supposedly abused.
One day on Niveus (I think. Map doesn't matter), I wanted to call a vote to see who wanted to play on temple. I forgot the percentage, but the admin !cancelvoted it. I yelled in global chat obnoxiously "abuse" and the admin said some disrespectful comment. I really think the admin was cool, so I didn't want to rat him out because, who knows. He could of been having a bad day. His GF may of dumped him. I wanted to keep doing something to make him mute/kick me to report for even more evidence, but I didn't and I played cool. My condump is also cut off as the abuse was in another round where the map was changed to...Nexus?

IMO, admins shouldn't use admin commands when not necessary, so if the vote was passing, then it was pretty much a misuse of admin powers. (Lol at censoring admin name as if it wasn't already obvious.)

I've never seen anyone posting a condump of themselves being a jackass and having any good come of it. A.K.A. trolling.

There isn't really any reason for admins to interfere with map votes, except changemap votes at silly times. Are you sure you called it nextmap?

you really don't need to censor the name of the admin, it's remarkably stupid and renders your post largely useless.

I like warlock as a player, but I think there are problems with him being an admin, not the least of which is that he can't explain himself to most of the rest of us. And yeah, this is abuse. Its also probably over a month old (its warlock, I'm in that condump, and I guess I already gave my opinion in-game).

Of course, this wasn't reported at the time due to the girl scout doctrine (don't report singular minor offenses).

That's aggravation and it can lead to the abusor actually being found innocent because you pissed him off. In the future, just go with what you have; it'll get you in less trouble and you won't look like as much of an asshole.

The only benefit I got out of this thread is a better undertsnading of the rules. I also do like warlock as a player, but i've never seen this side and that is why I posted this.

You've never seen the side of him where he'll kick you for making fun of him? Wow, you're missing out. Then again, I haven't seen him do this much lately. Sad thing really.
