It's interesting how negative that article was since having a sex change at such an early age makes a lot of sense. Not only does it mean a more successful result because their body has yet to develop through puberty, but also it's at this time that anxieties about oneself develop and it seems reasonable to nip it in the bud rather than have it rule the rest of thier life. Seems like it's given them the confidence to also embark on a music career, so on the face of it there isn't much to complain about.
