What's up with people saying I suck?

Heres my Rant:
A couple of times, I met these so called players saying on chat "I suck at this game".
Well I don't mind if their saying is actually genuine and I would help them not suck, but its not! Most of the time these so called players saying I suck, are actually players that are mostly on the top of the score board or had scores higher than the rest of the fucking team.  

Seriously I am What the fuck? How the fuck can you suck when you are on the top of the damn score boards.... Seriously this is retarded, it makes the players lower on the score board suck more then the player on the top of the score board  .

So for example, Lets say player 1 that have the highest score and Player 1 say I suck at this game or my aim is terrible I can't hit anything.  Now then WHAT ABOUT THE rest of the team that is below you player 1? So they Ultra ultra suck worse then you player 1?

Ok My rants finished! In short I hate people who say I suck when they are actually better then the rest of the players in the server.

Welcome to Tremulous Nah, seriously, they are just morons, you can say whatever you want to them, as is it doesn't matter much unless you are playing on a private server with specific rules or you were purely going for point racking (more killing, less doing objectives).

They probably are telling the truth. The playerbase in tremulous isn't skilled in general. Yes, you are terrible in the game. I can play badly and still easily have the highest score. If I then say I sucked I really did. Everyone else just sucked more.

I can tell who suck or not, and trust me they really are skilled players saying  "I suck", mostly they say I suck when they die though.

To be fair, a more liberal use of quotes around occurrences of "i suck at this game" would have made what you were trying to say a lot clearer, you did stick it in quotes once but, being lazy, my brain didn't seem to feel those quotes were particularly important at the time.

I advertise. They say its too hard or too fast-action. I suck, just not soo bad to be recognised as a noob. I find trem fun.

There's a big difference.

Also, lots of the people say they suck although they're at the top is because they probably killwhored (1.1) or snipe and/or zap spazms in the human base, or luci spam with team mates in the alien base (gpp).

Scores probably show they rule, but they can suck, because they probably did something repetitive to gain that. Doing something like that is just boring/too easy in which they think they suck because they make faults every now and then.
