that does not conflict with what i said.

if you are part of the team, then your views are part of the team's view, period.

in other words, if a member of the team has a stupid opinion and weaves that opinion, then both the member and part of the team should be accused of being stupid. note that stupidity can be significant even if it comes from a small part of the team. "the team is partially stupid" is equivalent to "there are some stupid people who are part of the team".
