The people in this video are total retards, and this is, rightly or not, the general view I have of America.

Most of the Americans I 'know' are smarter than this, As are most of you, but  still, this is bad.

I know they probably asked a lot of people, and many will have known a lot of the answers, but this is still abysmal for a country that claims to be first-world, and have a good education system. Can these people even read?

Yes, every country has its morons...but about 3 in every four americans is like that. Maybe stupid, but my word for it is ignorant. These people have what I call "tunnel vision". As long as they have their pretty house by the lake or whatever...they have no idea what the world's problems are or whats going on.

But I've seen a similar one about american children (in kindergarden I think) - they were shown photos/portraits of famous (very famous!) people and they only knew Ronald McDonald...

Wht I know about Americans is that their education is poor untill they go to universities... I heared (dunno if it's true) they are taught (on their history lessons) that for example Poland, as a country, originated in 1918... I was taught on my history lessons (I am from Poland :P ) that my country originated in 966.
Nothin' special - only 952 years less... :wink:

You know how many people they probably had to ask these questions to find these few that were so dense they couldn't answer them? You can always do something like this to portray a view and spark an opinion. You can find i'm sure 20 people that are in the USA who think USA stands for United States of Asia.... it happens no matter where you are, that doesn't mean that americans think they are in asia.. it means that you polled some morons... good job. This isn't america, its the world. People are fking stupid no matter where you go..

I know that stupid people are everywhere, and it does not depend on the nationality. In Poland we also have stupid people.
