Then again, 100 BP might be a little too stringent for casual players.
150 BP sounds like a relaxed game to you?

For the massive Tyrant rushes that can occur on SST, I don't believe 260 is too much.  SST has always been about trying different things it seems and the high BP count goes along with the high player count.  What good would 100 BP do on a 10 Tyrant rush?

Hopefully, everyone finds a server that suits their tastes and style of play and patronizes it.  If it was one server configuration fits all, Tremulous wouldn't be half the game that it is.

100 BP is joke for someone that can break through 260 BP worth of crap consistently.  

It logical that if you have more players, you need to scale defense.  More BP = more time, nothing more or less.

this problem is not actually unique to high bp servers, it's just more apparent. people tend to spend their build points really poorly, but on high bp servers, they spread the base way out. the result is that the "base" defenses are farther away from what actually matters than in lower build point servers -- what people don't realize is that it doesn't matter how many turrets you have when they are all too far away or too cluttered to hit anything

I didn't start on SST, I started on Beer garden, Boom Boom, and AKKA when it was up.  Boom Boom and SST are the only servers I get low ping on.

Its funny cause SST has FF, !denybuild, forced random teams, and the works.  You know, skill related settings.
