the problem was that they are finding servers their territory (talkin in polish, whinin in polish, takin no care for the "stick to english here" warnings, noobility, dumbassility

That does not give them the right to take over foreign servers, and generally behave like a bunch of assholes. And not just on SatGNU. The fact that we are the only ones banning Poland does not say we are the only server experiencing problems with it.
As you obviously know, we have spend days asking Polish players to at least speak English, so we can read the stuff they say in the global chat.
Usually, such a request is either met with an answer in Polish, usually some insult concerning the word 'kurwa', or you get flamed for being a racist and what not.
The moment we spend more time on trying to get Polish players to behave is the moment we ban Poland. If they want a server where they can behave like that, they should host one.

You don't like Poland? From what you wrote I assume you live in western Europe or in USA - if so then you should know that your country is responsible for the situation in Poland. Don't know why? Then learn some history of Europe after WW2.

Stop laying the blame elsewhere, and even more so, stop using it everytime you feel your country is attacked, verbally that is. Nobody here was alive when WW2 was going on, and nobody really cares either, its been over 60 years ago. The moment you shed that skin of 'omg we are done wrong' is the moment Poland will flourish.

Yeah... I know, but why I have to suffer for sth. I haven't done. But If I have to, I will try this solution as soon as my internet connection gets faster (hope this will be soon - I can't wait to play trem again).

Maby you're right, maby not (about the blame). But I have no ww2 minority complex - I don't have any reason to have any complex because of my nationality (especially when it comes to the history of Poland).

Annyway, I have a question: wasn't it possible to just ban some IP's instead of the whole country? The ban should be a punishment for those responsible for the situation, not for other people.

GG, SatGNU. I've experienced many problems with PL players on Trem, and I'm glad to see admins doing something about it. I know I'm going to lay down bansticks for any PL players that try to take over the MG server while I'm on it.

Banning whole country from server I find as a ultimate solution, very controversial solution.. It only shows impotence and laziness of SatGnu low-rank admins. I have lev.4 admin rights on Pub PL (your imagination will probably set up you a vision of hell pit, where bunch of devils is singing "kurva,kurva" on the melody of "Jingle Bells" ) and we had similar problems. But with filling up the ban list with nicks of the biggest troublemakers the mess was cleaned up.

With this national ban you have made a dangerous precedent - now admins of other servers will be encouraged by your example to ban people by their nationality (hope this will not occur, but after reading Seffy's post I'm a bit worried about it).

Now the last thing, which should be mentioned in this topic by honorable Pole:

I 'd like to apologize SatGnu Stuff for the behaviour of my countrymans, which forced you to do this.

Why is this pic faked? Because it's obvious a) the polish crest was never mounted on the roll bar b) the invasion started in the early hours and it was pitch dark c) the invasion was carried out not by the drivers-korps (as shown in this pic) d) NO Polish military assisted in the removal of the roll bars.

Baning misbehaving players is NO solution, as you certainly know that all it takes to circumvent it is a reconnect and a name-change. Then the server is back to where it started.
And guys, face NO server is monitored 24hrs, not even AW/HW .)
Banning by IP-Range is the only way to get rid of the grievers, and it was done since the start of net-play. But no one complained... why? because Server-Admins didn't announce it

Now we have a server that does so, fully knowing that doing so will draw a lot of fire and nazism-comparison. (respect for that!)
What pisses me off here is that loads of people are shouting that are not even affected. And those that are affected DO have a way to get back on the server! Just talk to the admins FFS!

Oh and Bev... those lazy  impotend Admins, as you like to call them, they are the ones that pay for the server, so STFU. And if you'd really knew what 's going on, you'd know that it is NOT the first server to ban by country/ip-ranges. It is just the first server to announce it.

I'd do the same action as maci if I knew that most of the player from country X are complete lamers - People have caused this situation themselves, and this ban surely will remove those badly behaving people.

All players who think they are good enough (in multiple meanings) to play on SatGNU, then just complain on the irc channel that has been mentioned before.

Wow @ your stupidity.
The majority of polish players, are normal and good members of the comunity, but as they are not talking in polish, you don't know they are polish.
This is a case of a few causing bad rep for the majority, and it would appear that there are a lot of polish players that this will penalise unfairly.
Perhaps just banning name with PL would be better?

Apart from the few normal Polish people that came to our IRC channel, I think I can safely say that most of you ranting Polish people that post here about racism and what not, are a perfect example of why your country is banned.
