Wow, lots of shit happend in this thread while I was gone :o . It's like everytime I post something, someone else has somthing to say :D. Well, time to address these replies:

Fist I like to say, Divmax took his time to add to my current list of commands and add a few he knew, I like to thank Divmax for his wondeful help. I will be sure to integrate his list into mine, Thx Divman, I'll remember to credit you for this, and all the other people this thread!  ;)

If you have trouble finding a complete guide on all of Quake3's console commands/cvars, you are just as thick as I already thought.

Sorry, I'll get right to it, I know a website that has those Q3 commands.  ;D

/bind <insert key> <insert command> <insert additional command, if needed>

Description: This command is for when your in the game, sometimes you want to do a action that requires a command to do it, but you dont want to type the damn command everytime you want to do that action. So thats where a bind comes in. for example, I want to bind the message, "Bring it, losers!", but I dont want to type it every time I want to say it, so I type this in the console (activated by ~) =
/bind (the bind function) 1 (the key you want to bind the commands to) say (the function to message people in the server to) Bring it, losers (the message you want to say to the people in the server). So your bind will look like this:

Example: /bind 1 say Bring it, losers!

/unbind <the key you want to unbind from>

Description: This command unbinds the key you add with /unbind.

Example: /unbind 1

When was this related to the server commands?
Attempt that in the server console and you get:

Code:
bind 1 say Bring it, losers!
unknown command: bind

The only reason I'm stating this because you said this:

Quote from: Hendrich on June 24, 2008, 11:02:48 PM
Hi, I've been checking the internet for any huge list of admin commands for when you wanna type commands into the Tremulous Console Server Window

Your not talking about the game client at all.

I'm sorry Divmax, I should have clarified that statement. Now I'm saying that this list is for ALL tremulous commands, so no worrys.  ;)

EDITED:

Ya, your right, I'm sorry.

Posted by: Bomb
Don't forget /unbindall.

Damn, how did I forget that command?!  :D

EDITED:

Sorry, Now I know that ALL /bind commands are useless in a server window.  :-\

I think the rest of the replies are about QVM's, but my brain just read "bla bla bla, Gotta watch Wall-E, learn how to install QVM's, bla bla bla" <--  :P BRAIN MALFUNCTION

That isn't exactly a useful command, especially for a list of server commands.
Well, he included /bind and /unbind, didn't he? Seems only fair to have /unbindall in there as well.

So the entire list is covered for anyone with the time to go searching.
Which is exactly why this list will be so handy. All the commands/cvars of the common QVM's, plus the standard Tremulous server-related commands/cvars in one place.

Might want to fix an error with /bind. You must have a ; before the next command. And when binding please use double quotes("") or else it will treat the command after the ; as another command, therefore not binding it.
Correct way:
Example: /bind 1 "say Switching over to Humans; team humans"
Wrong way:
Example: /bind 1 say Switching over to Humans; team humans
The above will do the following:
bind 1 to say Switching over to Humans and then execute the command team humans.

Bind is not a server command/cvar and therefore does not belong in this list.

If it will be a list of all commands, putting them in one single thread is a very bad idea.

There is a lot of overlap between the client and server commands and cvars, so IMO the best solution would be one very well organised list, to prevent copy and paste problems.
Of course, a nice filterable and searchable list would be best, but that's probably beyond what the forums can do.
A wiki would be great.  A page per command an then stick them all in the right categories.  A wiki would also allow for other people to help and correct things etc.
Any maps not in the MG repo?  Email me or come to irc.freenode.net/#mg.

Ok, I finally made up my mind, I deleted the /bind commands and I made it clear that this thread will be focusing only on server-based commands, and ONLY server-based commands. Sorry for the confusion.  :P

Also, I'm sorry Bissig, I thought you were talking to me when you replied that I was in my..I dunno..-something world.. whatever.

Sorry, but you can forget your previous post Divmax, I deleted /bind cause it was useless, it had no effect in a server window :P. Also, thanks again for your modified version of my list, big help, but I didnt want to replace my whole list with it, otherwise it wouldn't be my work.  ;D

Hey Hendrich. I saw the new addition to the first post so I decided to point you in the right direction to my QVM's commands. Here are the unique ones:

Utility commands:
!denyjoin/!allowjoin - Prevents/unprevents a player from joining teams.
!say - Says an anonymous message so people won't hate your guts for giving warnings.
!tkprotect/!untkprotect - Protects/unprotects a player from friendly fire.
!denyvote/!allowvote - Prevents/unprevents a player from calling votes. Useful for preventing vote spam.
!print - Prints a message to everyone's console. It can be a major source of amusement if you fake players' deaths (not something I recommend).
!cp - Displays a CP message to everyone.

Cheat-related commands:
!legalize - Immediately deactivates a player's cheats.
!cheattest - Tests a player for cheats.
!denycheat/!allowcheat - Removes/returns a player's ability to use cheats.
!cheats - Toggles cheats on or off without the need for a map restart.

Iron fist commands:
!terminate - Dumps a player from the server.
!smite - Instakills a player.

These are all the commands for now. Please check the project thread for updates.

David...

@le compilateur:  That isn't exactly a useful command, especially for a list of server commands.
Why did you call me Le Compilateur?

Hmm, nice, I know I havent been updating this guide much, probaly because I'm learning how to install and use QVMs. Well, as far as I know, I learned. The next thing I'll do is make a guide how to make a server with a qvm, then list qvms, describe each new command they give, describe the gameplay changes, then rate em out of 5 stars.

The QVM rating system I'll be using:

1*= This QVM sucks bull, don't even waste your time on this one.  >:(

2*= It has some intresting elements, but it still sucks bull.  :(

3*= It's decent in solid ways, you can check it out but I rather not use it.  :-\

4*= Good mod. I like it, i'll defenitly use it in my servers, its useful and quite fun.  :D

5*=This mod is excellent, it changes both gameplaty and gives you a bucketfull of useful commands, Go get it, NOW!  ;D

So yeah, stay tuned.  ;)

Umm, no. This is just a general example of a 5* QVM. That doesn't mean I'm going to give a QVM 5* just because it changes gameplay. Besides, I don't really care if I do give a QVM 5*, so why should you?

I'd just like to say your guide is probably the awesomest thing on this forum.

Lame, you just say that because

The Equilibrium QVM Project

Description:
Aw, the Equilibrium QVM. I'm actually excited to talk about this one. First I have to say The team that did this did a VERY good job at trying to balance the Tremulous gameplay. I can't tell you how much simpiler it is to handle a server with this QVM then with Vanilla Trem. actually, I'll show you.

Vanilla Tremulous = ------ This much
Equilibrium = ----------------------------------------------------* (popped into infinity) This much

Not only does it give you a slew of new, useful commands, but it balances and tweaks the gameplay for a new Tremulous experience. I give this QVM my official "Thumb Up". Don't belive me? Go download it yourself at http://tremulous.net/forum/index.php?topic=8452.0.

Unfortunatley, I cannot list al the commands for this QVM, or ANY QVM, or else I would've exceeded the 2000 character limit, th ebest I could do is to give you the links to the QVM's whereas hopefully they have thier own list of commands.

Rating: 5*  ;D

Haha, well is a good list, but i say that is more like for the people who wanna start a server without know anything. (I like the colors use :P)

No, it actually is a good guide. I couldn't care less if he gave my QVM a 0*, I would still say it were a good guide.

It's just My opinion of it, not the worlds.

You see, Snake, I actually read what he posts.

It is a list, which makes it a valuable resource if and when people should need to refer to it. This is known as reference material, and an active community accrues such useful items from time to time. Of course since all of this is already stored in yer noggin, you'll just hang around to answer all questions from now on.

Hey guys, I am thinking of moving some information (llike the QVM reviews and "how to make a server with a QVM guide") into two other threads, cause I really need the space for more commands (most likely I will). Mostly because:

1) 2000 character limit sucks, I need the space.

2) This originally IS a huge list of server commands and cvars, don't want to go off topic like how to install a QVM or which QVM is better.

3) Because I'm sure people will agree with my disiceon. <--Spelling mistake :P

PS: Bomb's QVM IS good, do you know how many commands that QVM had that I wanted? The QVM I used before only had 23 commands for level 5 admin, which sucked Bull. And most of those commands didn't help most of the time.

In other news, since I'll be making a new thread about QVM Reviews, is it Okay that ppl could recommend thier faveriot QVM either in here or in the new thread? I think I'll stick the new thread either in the Mod's Section or in the Server's section. I dunno which one is more appropiate. :P

Anyways, stay tuned. :P

PPS/PSS: I do this  :P ALOT

1) 2000 character limit sucks, I need the space.
If this wasn't here, then people would post a post which is supposed to be seperated into 2 pages.
Solution: Make a new post in this topic that continues from the first post as like Lava Croft said, all useless posts will be deleted once the guide is ready and will be pushed to the top.
2) This originally IS a huge list of server commands and cvars, don't want to go off topic like how to install a QVM or which QVM is better.
Uh, how to install a QVM is in a sticky.
3) Because I'm sure people will agree with my disiceon. <--Spelling mistake :P
Decision*, use spell check.
PS: Bomb's QVM IS good, do you know how many commands that QVM had that I wanted? The QVM I used before only had 23 commands for level 5 admin, which sucked Bull. And most of those commands didn't help most of the time.
Wow, so Nero's QVM which has 80+ commands should get 5? I would give Nero's QVM a 3 for some nice "fun" but abusable commands, and I had to minus some off due to large bugs.
