i'm now making theese concepts for a better porfolio to be able to apply for concept artist jobs. i'll make most of them about trem since it is a complex system. need more environments and tools tho, and also color pics...

the aliens went from a hybrid q4 strogg/tyranid/locust look, into a lesser human scale parasite.

dont like either style.

the humans are much better, despite how closely that last suit resembles a WH40K space marine.

i'm planning trem's human "army" as a kind of quickly and badly equipped bastards, who's weapons are rapidly redesigned from "mining devices". for example, i imagined the painsaw as a hacked part of a telenode (kind of "negaport") - what would cause unregeneratable (what a beautyful word) damage to aliens.
theese kind of overstoned ideas could possibly explain ingame mechanics in a funny way, if i can ever manage to illustrate them well.

i also started to read supertanker's stories, but i didn'T finish it yet. still, i found some serious differences between our concepts of trem universe which i don't think we could ever give up for each others :-) but let's see after reading it all.

now back to pitstop :-)

That same thing happened with me so many times. I start with nice ideas and prepare my art work. then I get lost in my own concepts.
You sounded to really into it. I would love to see you work if you have done anything more in this one.
