I'm doing something unconvential here out of the ordinary, bold, psychotic, deranged, useless attempt, ignorant, call it as you please. After consulting several trem players I've decided to create a guild. Void of Deity. I have a lot of respect for MG and everything it does for Trem, but I think its time a group stepped up for the other areas of trem. MG does so much, with 1.2 developement and the many projects, but at the same time, you have to be extremely talented in one way or another to be involved or assist them. Its like they say, they chose those they love over those they like. I think its time trem gets a guild for other 95% of the players, who aren't talented coders/webdesigners or just overall intelligent and above average people. I think its time for the average players to help the trem community. I've noticed a decrease in term popularity especially over the last 6 months. More and more old timers resign there clients and move on with life, and less and less new comers get involved. The reasons being, I feel are variant and numerous. Many get anxious and resltess waiting for 1.2 and decide to not play any further and who knows if they'll come back when its up. Clan matches have become nothign but camping and bitching. New players get ridiculed for not being able to have a 95% aim rate or being able to build a perfect base. The game recieves little to no promotion or advertisment. Take a look at the youtube videos(what a joke!). With that being said, I'll break down the goals and plans of Void.
Thanks to strange for the sexy banner.

Tag *Name=Void Example *Powa=Void
Explination, the tag represents that your person, a pointer pointing to you is Void of Deity. Exmplifying the lack of perfection in yourself, but at the same time your will to near it by your acceptance of it. While no one can be perfect, they can strive for perfection and do what they can to help themselves and others around them. Which is generally the ideal of the guild.
Main Goals:
* Consist of many members from the tremulous community who would like to help the community but aren't really sure how. 50 is about the number we're aiming for.
* Help promote tremulous through Open Source sites, videos, songs, and just generally mentioning it wherever we can to help increase traffic.
* Help assist new players get involved and give them a reason to stay playing the game. Teaching them is a lot better than swearing at them.
* Hopefully help with mapping and modding, we would love to get skilled people, but its not our main focus. Helping the development is an important thing, though I think we'll be best leaving the majority up to the wizzes at MG.
* Promote friendly interactment in game, the amount of hostility in game has gotten to ridiculously levels. For some reason players think racial and religious slang terms is a way to get into the cool crowd. We aim to help teach new players and old players respect, firstly by being examples of calm and respectful players ourselves.
* Keep servers populated and help good servers grow. Places like PT that are somewhat inactive need players to get players. Sadly people aren't encouraged to sit at an empty server waiting for friends, they'd rather go find an already full one. The servers that deserve players, is where we'll try to be regulars at, if we are welcome.
* Teach new players the game, help new players understand all the different weapons and classes and the most effiecient way to play. Teach them basic building designs and little tricks to help them actually have fun in the game. Losing every round in less than 4 minutes gets old fast and its annoying when your opposer just calls you swear words instead of bothering to give you tips and hints to help you get into the game.
Rules of the guild.
* Be respectful and helpful.
* Don't harass new players.
* Be involved and concerned about the community, don't just join to join, see what projects you can help with, or start a project of your own.
* Be understanding of different ages and races. There is no reason to hate someone because they have broken english, even if it is annoying and
hard to understand.
* The tag is not required to be worn in game. Though it would be nice the more you did so applicants can find you easier.
* Rules can be altered without prior notice and by applying to the guild you're agreeing and accepting these rules.
Application Process
Please fill out this form.
1. In game name(s):
2. How long have you been playing tremulous?:
3. Where is the general location you live(we understand if you don't want to give us state) and what is your timezone:
4. Why are you interested in joining the guild?:
5. How do you feel about helping to impact the tremulous community and what can you do to assist?:
6. Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and why you like doing what you do:
After you fill that out we will give you 2 to 4 weeks to play with us in game. Look for people currently on our roster.
We will hold a vote and run the vote for 2 weeks or until 75% of the guild has voted. You must not get more than 30% no votes.
After the vote you are welcome to ask the reasons of any no votes you got, however the voter can chose to stay anynomous.
*please note* this application process will not be effective until we have 10+ members and our site and forums are up. Until then applicants will be voted on or talked about by the few current members.
We don't plan on being hard to get into, all it will take is some common sense, and some want to do some good for the tremulous community.

If you feel you are wrongly placed on the roster let me know, these are the people whom I understand have joined, though I could be mistaken and they said they were interested, not in.
Please, do not post just to flame. I would much appreciate constructive critism or advice that you think could help. There is no reason, however, to flame the idea or the concept of doing this. I and the people above are just trying to do what we can to help the trem community.
