Hello everyone! I'm [AU!]FEAR420

Uhh, i'm pretty new to Tremulous but i'm no stranger to FPS or RTS and I've led many a clan in my day. My Goal in making this clan is to learn the game better, help others learn the game, and provide a healthy fun gaming experience for everyone.

We are looking for dedicated members who are willing to learn this game and the many strategies available. We are looking for team players, strategists, and those who just want to have some fun.

The Tremulous we play is 1.1 or anything compatible with 1.1

an xfire account would also be nice, however it's not required.

FAQ


Q: Why are there two names at the beginning of the post?
A: Because we are really two clans in one, [AU!] is for all of you that like to play humans while [HU!] are for those of you that like the aliens better.  

Q: What if i like to play both?
A: Just because you join one side doesn't limit you to only that side. If you normally play humans, and you wanna be on the alien team go for it!

Q: Where do i go to join?
A: On the bottom of the post, you will see a link. This link will send you to our website, all the information you will need to join is in the forums!

Q: What does your clan consist of?
A: Well, once we get a decent amount of members we will have skirmishes to practice. Eventually we will probably get into a tussel with another clan, so clan wars. Also read the post!

Q: Is there room for Advancement?
A: Yep! in the forums of our clans site you will see a 'Jobs' section, every job that is available will be posted in there. I will keep everything up to date.

Q: How many members do you have?
A: Well, considering i just made the clan I'm the only member right now. But i have a feeling we will be successful if we get a good group of loyal, active members.

Q: What if I'm a 'Noob'?
A: We are 'Noob' Friendly

Who am i? Well, I'm Tracey Hoff aka FEAR420.

Do you know me? chances are not... I'm kinda new.

How long have i been playing? I just started a few days ago, but I'm no stranger to FPS or RTS and i'm pretty good at both. I'm a fast learner and i hope to be pretty good in the next few days. Of course i have a little learning to do but i'm not to worried.

Who do i expect to join my clan and why? Well, i wasn't aiming for a particular group. Mostly just people looking for a clan who have the will to win and improve their skills on this game. Why? It's nice to be in a group and have the feeling of working, playing, and winning as a team. This clan is looking for anyone willing to learn the game, play to win, and work as a team.

If you expect to scrim you're going to need to play Humans and Aliens, not just one or the other.

I don't know how well you read or how old you are, but this information is already stated in the FAQ part of the post. We will scrimmage within the clan, [AU!] is for those who like to play as humans. [HU!] is for those who like to play as aliens. If a person likes to play either or thats fine.

Which Tremulous do i play? currently i have 1.1 installed and i plan on sticking with 1.1

I'm not sure that's entirely relevant, anyway, this whole two clans in one thing seems utterly redundant, and the fact that you've started a clan with two factions and only one member, you, seems even stranger, what's the point in having UA and HA if players wont be limiting themselves, is it just an excuse to have two tags at your disposal?

I'm not sure that trying to form a clan is really the first thing you should be doing upon starting to play trem, you may benefit far more from applying to an existing clan.
As for playing 1.1, good luck with that, GPP is the only place you'll get a decent game thesedays.

It actually is relevant... considering you clearly didn't read the post clear enough. It's one clan... with two tags and the tags aren't even important. The purpose of the two tags is so that during clan skirmishes i as the leader can see which players are best at what ever race.

It's always nice to have ambitions but you need to realize that tremulous is not a game you get to know in just a few days.
If you're talented, it will probably take at least 3 months or more of active gaming until you know the game. Probably a year until you're proficient.
If you want to attract the kind of people you're searching for, this is the bare minimum.

Doing what you do now is going to, at best, attract some random players not accepted in any other clan. This in effect turns off any decent player.
