Alright, I HAD been working on a high quality version, but I got carried away and ended up with too many polys so I've just improved the rough version and I'll probably just stop there.

Hope you like it!

It nearly killed me... but I've finally managed to get the gun in game with a texture. I could have really done with some help guys!!

Anyway, this is what it's like so far.

I still need help though, I only managed to do that by editing the data pk3 file (yes, I know that's bad -_- I made a copy of the original). I just can't seem to get my own pk3s to be read.

Look alright, but that spinning glitch makes it not worth it imo.

I know it's tough but all you have to do is spin your mouse the opposite way. You'll get used to it!

it is somewhat bigger now than it was intended (just as all the enormous trem weapons), and the way the dude is holding it is different too.
however it sure needs changes at least on the 'inner' side, so as ammo cartridges. BUT its working and thats awesome!!!

Why can't the ammo go into the side after pressing that release button? :]

Could you draw a picture of what you have in mind?

Is this a better size?

originally it was going to be something like this.
empty shells and cartridge shoukd ofc fall sideways, but full ones should be loaded from below (aka: there is actually a reason why the lower side exists :-) )
unfortunatelly the model's current arms won't let this gun to be held properly.
i hope there will be sometime to make a remake concept!
size fits now imho!

Hey nux, hey optimus. Cool stuff.
Wouldn't it look cooler if the arm went inside the hollow shell thing?

The thought occured to me too, but the idea has issues. What room is left for the guns mechanisms? Is that really comfortable/convenient?

Also the way he holds it means he would have his hand going through the front of the gun instead of holding it.

damn dude this looks epic. You could be a game artist for like Bungie or something. LOVE what you've done with the aliens and THOSE drawings should be used in tremulous instead of the original ones.
