1.  In game name(s): Apollo, and my brother uses the name Phantom or TremVideos. We use the same computer.
2.  How long have you been playing tremulous?: Oh... 1 year give or take a few months
3.  Where is the general location you live(we understand if you don't want to give us state) and what is your timezone: EST, and I live in New York
4.  Why are you interested in joining the guild?: Well, I don't play tremulous every hour of every day, but I'm all for the friendly-player thing. Players calling other players "Twats" or "Fucktards" because they lost a few credits is kind of sad if you ask me.
5.  How do you feel about helping to impact the tremulous community and what can you do to assist?: The "Friendly-Playing" aspect of the game, if we still have one.
6.  Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and why you like doing what you do:
I'm diehard for soccer, and play it almost every day (sorry, it takes priority over Tremulous ;D). I'm not such a reader-type person, and have never truely enjoyed books that much, I mean, most librarians creep me out. I bet you cant stare me in the face and tell me that a librarian hasn't scared you once. I mean the big glasses and stuff is just... Ahh I'm off topic. Oh, and that brings me to the next point, I am VERY social, talking a lot more than I need to  ;) .
I hope to be excepted.

Hey Apollo...if you'd like to apply, please do so on the Void of Deity forums so all our members can see your app.  It's at http://voidofdeity.net/forum.

Once you apply in the recruitment section, I or another staff member will review your app and bring it to the Guild for a vote.

Thanks!

We're now running polls for our new applicants. All members should participate if possible.

Today I couldn't access the Void website to view the current polls. Is it just my connection to the site or is there a problem going on?

Its a guild that tries to help Tremulous grow, basically, in any way possible. You don't have to be a crazy modder/mapper to join, only if you have the potential of helping Tremulous. All I do is make guides, not much, but it helps.

Hopefully you can join.  :D

Sorry, our host transfered the server to a more reliable connection and new IP.  The forums weren't supose to go down, but they probably had to redirect the domain which normally takes 24 hours.

If anyone still gives a granger's swipe about it, the forums is down again. I assume it'll be up after 24 hours?

No.

Ok, so we had old IP adress and now we have a new one.  Problem is the new one isn't working.  The old is the only one that works.  When it was down earlier, both ip adresses were down because the phsyical machine was being moved or because they were transfering all the connections?  Then it came back up, well now apparently they transfered the domain to the new IP(which doesn't work).  So the old IP works, but the forum default points to voidofdeity.net which points to the new IP.  So unless I set the forums default to the old IP, which means you'd have to type in an ip address to get to the forums instead of domain we can't use it for now.  The old IP goes down on the 17th, so if the new IP isn't up by then.  We have no way to connect to server?  It is really fustrating me and I'm being completely ignored on their help desk.  I have like 4 tickets open.  There were responding, and suddenly they just stopped...  They still were in "business hours" when they stopped too.  (even though its supose to be 24/7 support.)

Gah, every hosting company out there is shit, someone give me some money so I can just drop a T3 into my house and host myself :/

*Hendrich gives Annihilation 5 evos.*

There, I think you can trade that in for about $2000 US. Hopefully America's Currency Exchange will trade it.
And thank me too, it took me two rants to get that much, if you call two fat guys I killed in a McDonald restaurant Tyrants, of course...

So, we just have to type in "voidofdeity.net/forum" to connect or the whole damn thing with the nifty .php at the end?
